The Smereka 20×100×6000 blockhouse is a prefabricated log house built without any wall trimming. Half the boards are left flat to fit snugly against the wall, while the other half is curved, like a log fresh off the lathe. While the house looks like it was built from solid timber, it's actually lightweight sheathing that doesn't support the foundation or require a team of carpenters.
Twilight imparts a subtle pine scent and a warm, light color. Inside the boards are living, light-colored knots, like forest fires; small black branches harmonize with nature. Kiln-dried wood extracts moisture to a precise 10-12%, preventing the board from "moving" or cracking in winter. The tongue and groove geometry is so precise that installation is like assembling a child's building block: one board fits into the groove of another, and the wall holds itself together.
Attach with self-tapping screws at a 45° angle into the groove or with hidden clips; cover the joints with decorative strips. Leave an expansion gap at the corners and ceiling—the wood needs space to breathe. After a few coats of varnish or oil, the surface shines like a freshly cut log, ready for any use.
Suitable for exterior cladding of houses, saunas, gazebos, balconies, and interior walls of apartments or offices. After installation, the walls look as if they were built a century ago, but with all the advantages of modern precision.
