Counting on an abacus for children is an excellent way to develop a child's intellectual abilities. Humanity has never invented a better visual representation of the decimal system than the abacus. By moving the beads, children can learn the composition of numbers and quickly grasp the principles of addition and subtraction. Children aged 2+ will enjoy the game “Repeat the Pattern” - draw patterns on a sheet of paper with colored pencils, and the child repeats them.
For children aged 3-4, offer them simple math problems to solve.
